Shiloh Enterprises, Inc. is incorporated in the state of Louisiana where the founders,  Bob and Anne Pierson, have owned and operated these two campgrounds for the last fifteen years. Bob's background in the industry began in the 1980s with the oldest membership camping organization in existence, Thousand Trails, Inc. He worked in management and as a company director there for over ten years, then decided to venture out on his own and  buy his own parks. His wife, Anne, followed him into that adventure, and they soon added a second location, raising their children, running their campgrounds, and enjoying the fun and friendly business they had built.

Through the years, the industry has changed. More and more RVers are hitting the road every year, competition among park owners has become fierce, and many campgrounds are struggling to meet the growing demands of a new generation of campers. There is a need for a realistic program to help RVers save money, and to be able to depend on a quality home park to serve them as members.

Campers, on the other hand, are fighting an unpredictable economy, and many of them have reached deep in their pockets to afford the retirement they enjoy and deserve.This new generation of campers wants it all - quality, price, and the freedom to travel without worrying about whether they can afford the next night's camping!

After 15 years, the two Shiloh Resorts have several thousand members.  The Monroe park has a paid in full mortgage, and the Lake Bruin property has only a small mortgage remaining; so this rare situation gives members the satisfaction of knowing that their home parks will remain viable and will be in business to serve them for as long as they are traveling.  Because there are sufficient members at both parks to support the operation of the parks, a sales staff is no longer needed, and active marketing of memberships is not necessary.  Memberships are available through Shiloh at the lowest prices in the industry, simply because the resorts only seek to replace inactive members each year. No sales commissions need to be paid to salespeople, and prospective members can deal directly with work-kamping RVers - just like themselves!
